Woman Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision on Route D near Route DD in St. Charles County
St. Charles County, Missouri (April 1, 2018) – A woman was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-car crash in St. Charles County, according to authorities.
The accident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31 on Route D, just east of Route DD.
According to the authorities, 22-year-old Courtney Hake was driving eastbound on Route D when she lost control of her vehicle and slid into the westbound lane, hitting an oncoming vehicle.
Hake was declared deceased at the site of the incident.
The driver of the second vehicle, 18-year-old Zack Hunsicker sustained minor injuries.
No other details were immediately available.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
