Jackson County, Mississippi (March 23, 2018) – Two people were killed and three children were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Jackson County, according to authorities.
The collision took place at the intersection of Highway 614 and Otis Cooper Road on Thursday, 22.
Authorities stated that a man was operating a Honda Pilot on Highway 614 when he crossed over the center line and collided head-on with a Ford Expedition, which was driven by a mother who had her three young children in the vehicle.
Both drivers were declared deceased at the scene of the incident.
The three boys were transported to a hospital. One of the children has been released from the hospital and the other two are still in intensive care.
