Costa Mesa, CA: Motorcycle Rider Injured After Collision With Car On Freeway
Costa Mesa, California (October 6, 2016) – The authorities are investigating an injury motorcycle crash that occurred Thursday morning in Costa Mesa.
As per a California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 7:49 a.m. this morning when a motorcycle collided with a silver Toyota Corolla in the HOV of the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway near Fairview Road on-ramp.
The motorcyclist was down in the carpool lane while the car Toyota was blocking the HOV lane of the Freeway. The rider sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.
The Costa Mesa Fire Department Responded to the scene to attend to the injured.
The crash is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability
