Two Killed in Deadly Baton Rouge Crash on Florida Boulevard

2 Killed, 1 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge
Baton Rouge, Nevada (April 8, 2018) – A three-vehicle wreck killed two people and sent a third person to a hospital early Sunday morning in Baton Rouge, according to police.
The crash occurred in the 11300 block of Florida Boulevard at the intersection of Sherwood Forest Boulevard at around 1:30 a.m.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, a 34-year-old driver of a 2006 Chevrolet Impala was traveling eastbound on Florida Boulevard when the driver failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and sideswiped a 2016 Ford Fiesta, before crashing into a 2015 Nissan Altima.
Both the driver of the Nissan, Gatveyea Williams, 30, and a passenger in that vehicle, Jonathan Williams, 29, died at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet was hospitalized with moderate injuries at a local hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation.
