Woman Killed in Rochester Pedestrian Accident on Genesee Park Boulevard near Midvale Terrace
1 Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Genesee Park Boulevard near Midvale Terrace in Rochester
Rochester, New York (April 19, 2018) – The woman who was struck and killed by a car in Rochester Monday night has been identified as Akeata Terry, 39, of Rochester, Rochester Police said.
The deadly incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, April 16 in the 800 block of Genesee Park Boulevard near Midvale Terrace.
According to the Rochester Police, Terry was in the middle of the roadway when she was hit by the car.
Terry was trapped beneath the car. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Genesee Park Boulevard was shut down for several hours while police investigated, but has since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
