Woman Struck and Killed by Buffalo Police Vehicle on Hertel Avenue
Buffalo, New York (March 30, 2018) – A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident involving a police vehicle on Friday morning in Buffalo.
According to Buffalo Police Department, the crash happened at about 6:30 a.m. on Hertel Avenue near Tennyson Avenue.
The Buffalo Police officer was responding to a call on Starin Avenue when the vehicle struck a North Buffalo woman.
The victim, identified as a woman in her 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The New York State Police are conducting an investigation into the accident.
