3 Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision at U.S. 701 and U.S. 210 in Bladen County

Bladen County, North Carolina (April 13, 2018) – Three Co-Workers from Fayetteville were killed in a two-car accident in Bladen County Wednesday morning, according to Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at about 6:46 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 at the intersection of U.S. 701 and U.S. 210.

According to the Highway Patrol, 56-year-old Angela Varnam was driving her coworker eastbound on U.S. 210 when she failed to stop at a stop sign and rear-ended an 18-wheeler driven by Maurice Sinclair, 50, of Lumberton.

Varnam, Antonio Rousseau, 20, of Fayetteville and Kendall Joiner, 43, also of Fayetteville, were declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

The cause of the deadly crash is under investigation.
