Olympic High Student Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Youngblood Road at Buckthorne Ridge Lane in Charlotte

Charlotte, North Carolina (March 28, 2018) – Olympic High School student was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Charlotte, according to authorities.

The accident occurred just after 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 27 on Youngblood Road at Buckthorne Ridge Lane.

Authorities said 15-year-old Zoe Alana Deeh was crossing Youngblood Road towards Buckthorne Ridge Lane to catch up to her school bus. Unfortunately, Deeh was struck by a 2017 Nissan Murano that was heading eastbound on Youngblood Road towards Capps Road.

Deeh was declared dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
