Clifford Miller and William Rounds Killed in 2-Vehicle Collision at State Route 6 and State Route 7 in Pierpont Township

Pierpont Township, Ohio (March 24, 2018) – Two people were killed Thursday evening in a two-car crash in Pierpont Township, according to State Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash occurred just before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at the intersection of State Route 6 and State Route 7.

According to State Highway Patrol, 46-year-old Clifford Miller from Wellsville was operating a GMC Sierra westbound on State Route 6 when he failed to yield right-of-way, violated the stop sign and drifted into the path of a tractor-trailer.

Both vehicles collided, hit the ditch and overturned.

Rounds and Miller were declared deceased at the scene.

No further information regarding the deadly crash was immediately provided.
