Man Killed and 1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Ohio State Route 133 near U.S. 50 in Owensville

Owensville, Ohio (March 23, 2018) – A man was killed and one person was injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in Owensville, according to authorities.

The deadly accident occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22 on Ohio State Route 133 just north of U.S. 50.

Authorities stated that a work truck heading northbound with at least four occupants turned in front of a truck with a trailer.

The truck pulling the trailer overturned and the 38-year-old driver was killed. His passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Bethesda North hospital.

The occupants of the other truck were not injured.

The roads were shut down for about an hour during the investigation.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
