Man Killed, Woman Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 19 near Quaker Road in Crawford County

Crawford County, Ohio (March 31, 2018) – A 42-year-old man was killed and a 67-year-old woman injured Thursday evening in a two-car accident in Crawford County, according to authorities.

The accident took place at around 6:50 p.m. Thursday, March 29 on State Route 19, just north of Quaker Road.

According to the authorities, Eric Adams of Bucyrus was driving a 2012 Honda Accord southbound on State Route 19 when he lost control on the wet roadway, crossed into the northbound lane and hit a 2016 Ford Escape, driven by Brenda Young from Bloomville.

Adams was declared dead at the scene.

Young was transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital for her injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
