Two Tulsa Girls Killed in McCurtain County Crash on U.S. 259

2 Killed, 4 Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on U.S. 259 in McCurtain County
McCurtain County, Oklahoma (April 22, 2018) – Two girls were killed in a fiery two-vehicle collision that left four other people hospitalized on Friday night in McCurtain County, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The fatal accident took place on U.S. 259 at around 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 20.
Troopers said a Toyota van was traveling northbound on U.S. 259 when it attempted to make a turn onto a private driveway and was hit by a southbound Chevy pickup truck.
Two Tulsa girls of ages 16 and 11 were riding in the van and were killed in the crash.
Four other people were transported to a hospital, and one of them was said to be in critical condition.
The driver of the pickup truck, Henry Liebermann, 26, was transported to McCurtain County Hospital.
The OHP reported that Liebermann had the odor of alcohol at the time of the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
