Richard Langley Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on State Highway 97 in Great Falls
Great Falls, South Carolina (March 23, 2018) – The man who died Wednesday afternoon in a two-car crash in Great Falls has been identified as Richard Langley, 29, of Blacksburg, according to Chester County sheriff’s deputies.
The deadly crash took place on State Highway 97 between Chester and Great Falls on Wednesday, 21.
According to the Chester County sheriff’s deputies, an ambulance was overcorrected and veered off the road and crashed into a car.
Langley, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other three people in the car were flown to a Columbia hospital.
The occupants of the ambulance did not appear to suffer serious injury.
The incident remains under investigation.
