1 Killed, 3 Injured in Memphis Crash at New Horn Lake Road

Memphis, Tennessee (March 29, 2018) – One person was killed, and three others were injured Tuesday evening in a two-car accident in Memphis, according to a police report.

The incident happened at around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 27 at New Horn Lake Road and Brantley Road.

According to the police report, Williesha Todd was traveling northbound on New Horn Lake Road when she swerved to avoid to avoid a piece of metal, lost control and crashed into the front of another car that was headed southbound.

29-year-old Crystal Todd, who was in the front seat of Todd’s car died from injuries sustained in the crash. An 11-year-old boy also in the car was transported to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Williesha Todd and a 23-year-old man, the driver of the other car, were transported to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

No further information regarding the crash is available at this time.

The deadly accident remains under investigation.
