PALO ALTO, California (Aug. 4, 2016) – A deadly accident was reported Thursday morning on the northbound Highway 101 at the Bayshore Road off-ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
As per the report, the deadly accident took place at about 9:16 a.m. this morning between a motorcycle and a gray commercial truck vehicle.
At least one person was killed in the crash. First responders found the victim lying between the numbers 1 and 2 lanes of the highway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the firefighters who responded to the scene.
The identity of the victim was withheld by the police pending family notification. The crash is under investigation by the authorities to determine the cause and liability.
