Deadly Crash in El Sereno: March 23, 2016

Another unfortunate and fatal accident has claimed another life. Jesus Padilla, 21 was killed in a collision involving a small car and a garbage truck. It happened at around 6:24 AM in the 5000 block of Alhambra Avenue says Margaret Stewart from LAFD. Meanwhile the garbage truck driver was not injured. According to the LAPD, Jesus Padilla was driving 50 mph while trying to pass another vehicle when he lost control of his 1991 Ford Mustang. Then collided with the truck which is privately-owned. At this time, police do not believe that drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. But no matter what the cause, it is indeed tragic.
