2 Killed in Saturday Morning Beaumont Car Accident on Highway 60
Beaumont, California (April 23, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a double fatal car accident that also sent two people to the hospital Saturday morning in Beaumont.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, one of them overturning onto its side on top of the guardrail.
Authorities said the incident occurred at about 3:30 a.m. on Highway 60 near Interstate 60.
First responders pronounced two people dead at the scene and requested at least two ambulances to transport at least two other people to the hospital with major injuries.
The cause and manner of the accident remained unknown at the time of the report.
All westbound Highway 60 lanes were blocked from Interstate 10 following the collision.
