Woman Killed in Bay County Pedestrian Crash on U.S. 231
Hialeah Woman Struck, Killed by Vehicle on U.S. 231 near Julie Road in Bay County
Bay County, Florida (April 2, 2018) – A 40-year-old Hialeah woman was struck and killed by a car Sunday morning in Bay County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash took place at about 4:12 a.m. Sunday, April 1 on U.S. 231 near Julie Road.
According to troopers, the woman was in the outside lane of southbound U.S. 231 when she was hit by a southbound 1998 Dodge Durango driven by Ryan Lindsey, 33, of Lynn Haven.
The woman died from injuries sustained in the crash. Her name was not released pending next of kin notification.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
