Judith Armijo Killed in Menifee Car Accident at Watson Road and Menifee Road
Menifee, California (January 30, 2023) – Police have identified 75-year-old Judith Armijo of Menifee as the person killed in a traffic collision on Sunday morning in Menifee, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at about 9:51 a.m. on January 29, at Watson Road and Menifee Road.
Per the CHP officials, Judith was heading eastbound in a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta on Watson Road when she stopped at the junction. She then drove into Menifee Road and crashed into a southbound 2017 Hyundai Elantra.
The Volkswagen swerved off the road and went into a ditch following the crash.
Judith, the Volkswagen driver, suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
The Hyundai driver, a woman in her 70s, was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
Further details regarding this crash were not released.
An investigation is ongoing.
