Martin Padilla Killed in Corona Car Crash at Temescal Canyon Road near Leroy Road
Corona, Caliornia (January 28, 2023) – Authorities have identified 47-year-old Martin Padilla of Hemet as the person killed in a traffic collision on Friday morning in Corona.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on January 27 at Temescal Canyon Road and Leroy Road.
Per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
Responding firefighters freed Padilla, who was pinned in one of the cars. Padilla was declared dead at the crash site.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities blocked the lanes until 8:00 a.m. following the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
