Motorcyclist Struck and Killed by Vehicle on I-10 in Tempe

Tempe, Arizona (March 28, 2018) – One person was killed in a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in Tempe, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The incident took place shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, on Interstate 10 at U.S. 60.

It’s unclear what caused the crash.

The motorcyclist, identified as Albert Yanez, 25, of Mesa, was killed in the collision. No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
