1 Killed, 1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision at Dam Neck Road and London Bridge Road in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Virginia (April 15, 2018) – According to the police, one person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Friday evening in Virginia Beach.

The collision happened at around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Dam Neck Road and London Bridge Road.

As per the police, a minivan traveling westbound on Dam Neck Road rear-ended a Honda Civic. Due to the impact of the collision, the Honda Civic was forced off the right side of the road while the minivan veered off the road and struck several trees in the median.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Harpers Road to London Bridge Road which was closed was re-opened at around 9:30 p.m.

The incident remained under investigation undertaken by Virginia Beach Fatal Accident Crash Team.
