1 Killed, 2 Injured in Car Crash with Semi-Truck on U.S. 2 near Saxon,

Saxon, Wisconsin (March 28, 2018) – One person was killed while two others were hospitalized after a crash between a semi-truck and a car early Tuesday morning near Saxon, according to Iron County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash was reported at around 3:53 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, on U.S. 2 near Wisconsin State Highway 122.

It’s unclear how the collision happened.

Deputies said a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers of the car and the truck were taken to Aspires Grand View Hospital in Ironwood with unknown injuries.

The names of the parties involved were not immediately released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
