Lancaster Man Killed in Big Rig Crash on State Route 138 near State Route 14 ID’d as Stanley Grovers
Lancaster, California (January 15, 2021) – The 26-year-old Lancaster man who died following a two-vehicle collision in Lancaster Thursday night has been identified as Stanley Grovers.
The deadly crash, involving a big rig, took place at about 7 p.m. on state Route 138 near state Route 14.
A 2002 Toyota Solara driven by Grovers, eastbound along the roadway, slammed into the 2016 Freightliner semi-truck that was making a left turn from the state Route 14 off-ramp onto state Route 138 for unknown reasons.
Grovers died following the mishap while the truck operator was not hurt. Grovers was reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the report.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the cause of the accident.
