3 Vehicles collide on Highway 299 Near Whiskeytown National Recreation Area

Redding, CA: 4 Injured in Highway 299 Three-Car Crash
Redding, California (October 18, 2016) – 4 people were injured Tuesday morning following a three-vehicle collision in Redding, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident took place at about 8:00 a.m. on Highway 299 near Whiskeytown National Recreation Area.
According to the report, a Mazda pickup truck driver pulled onto the roadway without having the right of way leading to the accident.
The other two vehicles were a Toyota that was heading east and a Ford that was heading west on 299. A man and a woman inside the Mazda were injured in the collision.
Also injured in the three-car crash are the drivers of the Toyota and the Ford vehicles.
The four victims sustained moderate to serious injuries in the accident and were taken a hospital around the area.
Having donee their investigation, the California Highway Patrol investigators came to a conclusion that the Mazda driver will be held at fault.
