Two Killed in Modesto Car Crash on Highway 132 and Hart Road

Modesto, California (March 22, 2020) – Two men from Crows Landing were killed when the vehicle they were in collided with a big rig at an intersection near Modesto on Saturday morning, CHP said.

The collision occurred at around 6:50 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Highway 132 and Hart Road.

CHP said a Volvo was traveling southbound on Hart Road when it collided with a big rig heading west on Highway 132.

The driver and passenger in the Volvo, identified as 28-year-old and 22-year-old men, died in the wreck. Their names were not released but CHP said they were both from Crows Landing.

The 39-year-old Tracy resident operating the big rig was uninjured.

The CHP is investigating the crash and they say alcohol or drugs were not suspected to be factors.
