Rodney Espinal Killed in Los Angeles Two-Vehicle Crash on 5 Freeway near Valencia Boulevard
Valencia, California (July 6, 2023) – The authorities have identified the man who died in a traffic collision on 5 Freeway in Valencia last week on Saturday.
37-year-old Rodney Espinal died at the hospital following a collision involving a Ford towing a box trailer and a BMW at around 9:35 p.m. Saturday, July 1, on the northbound 5 Freeway near Valencia Boulevard.
Reportedly the BMW was stopped in the No. 3 lane when the Ford tried to pass it but instead crashed into the rear of the BMW. Espinal was in the driver’s seat of the BMW at the time of the crash. He was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, where he died.
The Ford driver was not injured.
