Damages Sustained in 605 Freeway Multi-vehicle Crash Near South Street in Cerritos
Cerritos, CA: Three Vehicles Crash 605 Freeway Near South Street, Damages Reported
Cerritos, California (December 8, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol, a collision involving multiple vehicles was reported Thursday morning on 605 Freeway at South Street in Cerritos.
The accident took place at about 9:22 a.m. this morning between a white BMW, a white pickup truck and a possible third vehicle which is alleged to have fled the site after the collision.
According to the CHP, it is possible that the motorists involved in the crash were hurt. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene to attend to the motorist. However, the condition of the motorist was not immediately available.
Further, the report stated that the BMD suffered major front-end damages in the incident and was towed away from the scene.
The wreckage was blocking the third and fifth lanes of the freeway.
The crash remains under investigation.
