85-Year-Old Man Killed, 1 Injured in Dump Truck Crash with Semi-Trailer on Route 202 in Largo

Largo, Maryland (April 21, 2018) – One driver was killed in a crash between a dump truck and a semi-trailer on Friday afternoon in Largo, according to a report by the police.

The crash occurred at around 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, on Route 202 near Prince George’s Community College.

According to a preliminary investigation, a dump truck crashed into the rear of a semi-trailer that was stopped for a stop sign.

The driver of the dump truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.

The driver of the semi-trailer, John Rejhm, 58, was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash caused a hazmat situation as there was a spillage of fuel.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
