Male Cyclist, 41, Killed in River Road Traffic Collision
Fulton, CA: Bicyclist Dies After Colliding With Big Rig On River Road
Fulton, California (September 21, 2016) – Authorities are investigating a deadly accident in which a bicyclist was killed after colliding with a big rig truck on Wednesday morning, according to the Press Democrat.
The accident took place at this morning at about 8:30 a.m. on the eastbound River Road between Barnes Road and Fulton Road.
The 41-year-old Santa Rosa Resident became trapped underneath the semi truck after the crash. First Responders found the bicyclist dead after the crash. The Rincon Valley fire crews responded to the scene. At about 8:45 a.m. the Sonoma County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene.
The driver involved in the big rig truck accident was only identified as 35-year-old Man from Santa Rosa.
The crash is under investigation by the police to determine the cause and liability.
