MONTAGUE, California (July 29, 2016) – Two people, a man and a woman, were injured Friday morning following a rollover crash on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Louie Road, according to the authorities.
The accident took place when a Chevrolet pickup truck crossed over into the opposing traffic on the I-5 Freeway, overturned and came to rest on its wheels at 6:55 AM this morning. At least two people sustained major injuries in the crash. No fatalities were reported in the crash.
Responding paramedics found a woman in the pickup truck. The woman told the paramedics that she was unable to see. A man who was in the vehicle was thrown out or may have managed to get out of the pickup truck, according to the CHP report.
The two were flown to a hospital for treatment.
The crash is under investigation by the police.
