At Least One Person Killed in Yuba City Car Crash on Highway 99 at Wilson Road
Yuba City, California (November 22, 2022) – At least one person was killed Monday night in a crash involving a big rig in Yuba City.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened at around 9:37 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway at Wilson Road.
Officers say a big rig and a black SUV were involved in the accident.
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to catch fire.
Reportedly, at least one person was killed in the incident.
Sutter County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
Southbound Highway 99 was blocked at Highway 113. All the vehicles on the highway were diverted to Highway 113.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
An investigation into the fatal crash is underway.
